I started playing on this yesterday. Man, really brought back memories. No addons, no baked-in quest helper or anything.. there's something about the simplicity of the game that makes it fun.. I think the fact that you have to read the quest dialogue to see what direction to head for a quest and actually explore an area to find what you need is what made vanilla so fun, particularly as a first experience. It forced you to immerse and explore, whereas all of the extra help in the game now takes away from the immersion.

I played Nostalrius before it got shut down, 10k pop was fantastic. Don't want to put in time to another server just to have it shut down again ><
