Holy shite. I never got into CS:GO betting, and this makes me glad I never put time/money into it.

It's a scam even if you dont get into the betting. There are random skin or case drops after every match. To open a case you have to buy a key for $2.50 or sell the case on the marketplace probably worth $0.20. If you are stupid enough to buy a key the chances you get anything worth a damn of looks cool is slim to none. You can eventually trade up those skins, but even then there is a small chance you get a halfway decent skin.

DLC is even a scam. $15 dlc that is only available for a limited time and its primary focus is to market the new skins that are released with the new dlc.

This game used to be fun and competitive
