Braves sign #1 ranked international free agent Kevin Maitan today

The consensus top player in the class who has drawn comparisons to Miguel Cabrera, Miguel Sano and Chipper Jones, among others. He is the best July 2nd prospect since Sano signed in 2009 and possibly since Cabrera signed out of Venezuela in 1999.
He will receive the largest bonus of any player ever to come out of Venezuela.

I was born and raised in Atlanta, grew up a big Braves fan, I still love my bravos, but how the hell do we expect American kids to relate to baseball when all of our players are named:
