Going this weekend. Only been out of this area one time and it was with a guide. Anyone been lately? Live or plastics? Oyster beds or try to get to some platforms in the Breton Sound area? Thanks for any advice

There will only be about 500 boats fishing it today and 2000 fishing it on Saturday with a small drop off of about 1000 on Sunday. Fish the rigs in Lake Borgne instead

Some guys I know went last week with a guide and they had 400 live shrimp they went through. They kept about 40 trout. Caught a lot of small ones.

The fishing is slowing down a bit but there are still fish to be caught. Live skrimps. Get out in Borgne and find some clean water. Fish the mouths of the bayous dumping into the lake, and around the rocks. You should be able to put a decent box of fish together doing that. There will be boats though. Godspeed.

Caught on live and VooDoos a couple weekends back. We did alright but most people were in the single digits per boat.

Been out in the yak twice in the last two weeks. Reds-a-plenty for me both time. Last trip was reds, specs, black drum, bass and croaker.

Went Friday morning and caught 34 with a buddy of mine that doesn't really fish so when we got on them I ended up baiting a pole by the time I baited my pile he had a fish in the boat so I gave him that pole unhooked the fish baited pole, rinse and repeat about 20 times. Live shrimp is the key. Had some twelves but also had some sixteens just depended on tide. Left at 10 because didn't want to wait through the heat for two hours for the tide to start falling
