I love to ruin the Bundesliga, as the haters would say.

Apparently the reason this is such a joke is that in Wales it used to be that the punishment for stealing was losing a hand, whereas the crime for animal sex was losing a finger. When guys got caught stealing livestock it was the smart choice to say that you were having sex with the animal instead of stealing it

Naw, he´s smart. He´ll mould around what he´s got, and give the players lots of confidence and love.
BM is going to be very scary.

The way he rotates personnel will be interesting too. I think Benatia will get sold but we will still sit with an expected back line of lahm Boateng hummels and Alaba- with rafinha, Javier Martinez, and Kimmich able to fit into different spots.
Midfield will be even more interesting- who does Carlo run as deep mid? Options are Xabi, Javi, Kimmich, and I can see Vidal there (if we run an aggressive game plan). Box to box mid would likely be between Vidal and Sanches with Thiago as an option. Attacking mid could be Thiago, Sanches, müller, götze, the forwards or even Vidal.
Forwards and wingers are also crazy- Lewa at striker is solid (müller the likely backup unless we get another transfer- heard some things about Gabriel from Brazil). Wings held down by CoCo and Robbery when healthy, müller and götze (I know out of position) can also fill in.
Overall I think that when healthy the people that will be solidly starting are Neuer, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba, Müller, Vidal, and Lewa. I would include Lahm too but I could see them being mindful of his minutes (viewpoint jaded by my SA Spurs fandom probably).
I am relatively new to following soccer so closely but this next season and the future are exciting for Bayern. I think the group of young players (especially Kimmich, Coman, and Sanches) are a reload of talent that bodes well for the future.

Saw that...conflicting reports on whether it was health related or not

Sammer said he's healthy and want to take a break.

We need a Sporting Director... I would love to go after him...

Slightly off topic, but will BM have most of their regulars playing these friendlies, or resting most of them? Headed to Charlotte for the Inter game.

It was usually a Christmas tree at Milan. Pretty sad about him not coming back.

What is Sammer's reason for leaving? I read he has refuted it was for health..

Who knows? May honestly need a break or he may hate KHR.
