Are you a Certified Professional in Supply Management® (CPSM®)
or
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)?
How was your experience with the study materials/ exam? I'm seriously considering the(CSCP) exam.
Thanks
Austin

I have my APP, CPM, and CPSM. I took mine when it first came out and passed it on my first try. It wasn't too bad, but I studied my arse for it.

I belonged to ISM for the first 15 years of my career and it was pretty good for some networking and I can see how the CPSM would be good for learning and great resume material early in one's career.
I took the first module of the old CPSM cert and passed about 10 years ago, but never got around to finishing it.
I'm on the fence now about if I want to look at again. Not sure it will help me much in learning anymore.

With schools like SLU and LA Tech offering specialized undergrad degrees in SCM, would that take the place of a cert like the ones folks are discussing in this thread? Or is this more akin to a postgrad cert like a PMP?

If you have a degree in this, I wouldn't think the cerification would help a bunch with any additional learning, but I think it is a good resume item that seems to be respected

I think I will go with the apics certification
