Great person and coach, a real winner who earned everything she got. Class act and for those (like me) who view Sue Gunter as also a true champion, let it be known that Pat Summit helped get Sue in the Naismith hall of fame prior to her death (Sue did not live to see the ceremony but had been admitted when she passed), so another example of the kind of woman Pat was...And oh by the way a tremendous athlete (basketball and softball)

Pat had a great relationship with Sue, who was an assistant coach for the 1976 women's Olympic team that Summitt played on. Both of them died too young.
