A few things that I never heard before reading this was that IVARS bar had to restock their beer 3 times that day and didn't close until 4am and apparently at least 2 people admitted to pissing their pants. Also, the trophy was brought to IVARS and the crowd went crazy.

That was a good read.
I remember I was in the air on a Delta flight flying from Moscow, Russia to New York while that game was being played.
When I landed in NY I went to the Delta Crown Room lounge to check my emails. I had an email from a friend who told me about the Morris homerun and the CWS win.
I got some strange looks from other passengers in the lounge when I gave out a "Geaux Tigers!" shout.

I was at the Satelitte Feed in Memphis, at the time a sports bar in the middle of the city. Decent place. Me and a Miss St fan go to watch the final. Couple other LSU fans there along with 10 or so "Miami" fans.
One UM douche was strutting and crowing like a rooster that just hit the hottest chicken in the yard in the bttm of the 9th. Just wouldn't STFU
He's yacking and I'm pissed and I blurt out Morris is hitting a homer here and ending it for you...he laughs says he aint hit one all year, hahahaha.....and then boom. The LSU crowd is all over each other...the Miami dude heads for the exit asap another word never to be heard from

Great read. I didnt know him but he was a neighbor of my brother's friend (they were 2 years younger me and he was 4 years behind them). I do remember going to my brother's friend's house to play some basketball and they stuck his little arse on my team.
I wasn't anywhere special during the walk off but I recall being pissed and wanting to turn the channel. Before I could find the remote, boom, I was witness.

Fishing on Lake Chicot with a gf. We were listening to the radio. When Warren hit the home run we could hear people cheering and screaming in other boats from all around the lake. We were jumping up and down and were lucky we didn't fall out of the boat.

I was at LSU at the time. We had a group of friends at my apartment for a party. Before the game, I predicted that LSU would need 9 runs to win the game. When Lanier was batting just prior to Morris, a friend yelled across the room that if Lanier hit a homerun that I would have been right about the score. Lanier struck out on the next pitch. Then Morris happened. My apartment exploded. People were throwing their drinks as if they were in the student section of Tiger Stadium. It was an amazing moment that still gives me chills.

In the pool. We had a tv and a radio on a table on the patio. We were watching the game and listening to Hawthorne on the radio.

Weird, really can't visualize the room, because all I remember is seeing it on TV and jumping up and down, presumably at home. I do remember calling in to a national radio show the night before the game explaining that the Tigers were about to show everyone what gorilla ball was all about, and that that night the host came back on and said "Looks like that Louisiana person that called in last night was right."

We were at our camp in Grand Isle between the AM/PM fishing times.
I was 13 & went nuts. Ran out into the marina screaming to everyone that wasn't watching how it went down.

Was in the parking lot of the Astrodome after an Astros game. I had one of those handheld Sony watchmans with a faint signal blurry picture. I knew we must have hit a HR because I could see our team celebrating at home plate. My friends and I jumped out of the car and celebrated. People were asking what happened, we screamed LSU just won another national championship.

I was on a 7th grade field trip to Houston (Astroworld). We went to the Hotel for a mid day break.
I turned the game on as the 9th inning was starting. When Morris hit the HR the kids in our room went nuts running on the balcony and screaming
