re: The walk off memory

I was in the car heading home from Metro Ryan at the end of national guard annual training. I think I heard 1 or 2 batters before Morris. I had a troop giving us live updates while we were all waiting for rides.

I told Mrs. Midnight, "Warren is an All American, but broke his wrist, I think for the Olympic trials, and hasn't been right all year." Hawthorne commented at that point that he hadn't hit a home run all season. I turned to Mrs. Midnight and said, "He's due."
