Its weird, imo center really is the most stacked position of all time.

You have guys like, Wilt, Kareem, Hakeem, Russel, and Shaq who all have a legitamite arguement for being top 10 all time.

And then a tier below them you have David Robinson, Ewing, Moses Malone, Bill Walton,Robert Parish. Guys who are likely all top 50 all time.

Underrated?

Hakeem?

Naw. He is rated about right. Top-5 center. Behind Kareem, Shaq, Wilt.

Olajuwan is notunderrated. He took over from Parrish, as NBA's best running center. The most underrated player is Danny Ainge.

Wrong Danny.

It's Danny Manning.

He was so good, went to hell on earth (back when the Clips were purgatory) got severely injured right away with that old Clips curse and still made an All-Star injured and cursed by the Clips. (For those that aren't in the know, at that time for 25 years, every Clips pick was cursed with injuries.)

Danny Manning is the great what if?

He was traded to the Hawks for Dominique despite being injured...that was his potential. (Manning holds the distinction of being the first NBA player to have returned to play after reconstructive surgeries on both knees)

And then he won 6th man of the year award playing on two busted knees.
