It is actually unconstitutional to jail someone for not having the means to pay court fees/fines
The goal isn't to punish someone for being poor, it is to punish someone for disobeying the law. There are plenty of ways to do this without adding unauthorized extension fees and jailing people unconstitutionally.

Well, you can either pay the fine or do the time. Those have always been the two options. How is that unconstitutional?
