I would skip Pottery Barn and go straight to Restoration Hardware. It's a pool after all... the status symbol of all status symbols. Leave the price tags on.

You need some good quality powder coated made-for-pool furniture. People are going to be getting in and out of the pool and sitting wet butts down and anything not up to the task will corrode. We have a Winston 5' table and 4 chairs we bought about 4 years ago. Was like 3k. Under the patio we have a set from Sams from that no one sits on wet and it has lasted pretty good. Or you can just go to Restoration Hardware like someone said and pay $4k for a patio sofa.

I prefer mesh seating if someone will be sitting on it wet.

This thread is meeting my expectations, but I figured it was worth a shot to ask.

The background is that in the past when I have tried to save money on outdoor stuff - furniture, grill covers, etc it seems to fall apart in the LA and TX heat and humidity.

So I would rather spend a little more and have something last ten years than buy all new stuff every three years.

My car is almost 10 years old and well maintained. I'm a value shopper, not a baller.
