Document the damage with a lot of photos. When you go to sell the truck it will show up on Carfax as wreck damage or hood Aids, lowering the value. You will be able to show a potential buyer how minor the damage actually was.

That's the advantage to paying out of pocket. If he doesn't claim it on insurance, it will never show up on a CarFax.

Cavin's on airline does not report to carfax.
You can get the dents fixed by the Dent Doctor on Florida for less than $100.
You may be able to have the scratches polished out by a detail shop.
