Look I'm just saying the Dude was bad to his core and sometimes that's all it's about. Don't need a specific culture as an excuse for a double murder

I don't think it necessarily has anything to do with why he murdered them either. However he made such a point about being colorless and not identifying as white or black, and then when it comes time for trial his defense was largely based on him being a black man. I feel like that is an angle they are going to try and show.

He is over-reacting but it is a stupid thing to say. The kind of people that OJ was hanging with were not typical white people - making the statement pretty stupid. You should raise an eyebrow when someone makes a statement like that, probably in the same way you'd raise an eyebrow if they changed the word white to jewish just because his agent or accountant were jewish.
The trial as it was perceived by the jury and general public was all about race but the way OJ lived his life and bought his way out of a murder conviction had almost nothing to do with race, it was about money. He got rich and did rich people things, not stuff 99.99% of white people ever get to do.
