From what I understand, Mary Sue Coleman and Bill Martin seem to be taking a lot of heat for not offering Miles.

This is something that I think most (not you of course) are overlooking.
If Miles is staying wouldn't he want to get a DC in here PRONTO? Not only for the NC game but also for recruiting purposes?
By allowing Pelini to coach the D and not seeking a new DC, it only tells me that the door is being left WIDE OPEN for Michigan.
