Thought this would be an interesting topic. I'll ask a few questions and see where it takes us.

How many nights per month are you in a hotel? 4-6
What is your preferred hotel chain and why? Hyatt and Priority Club (Platinum with both. I go to a lot of shithole towns where Holiday Inn is as good as it gets)
How many flights a year do you average? 48+
What is your preferred airline and why? Southwest for reliability and points and Delta. No that I got a companion Pass I will start pumping up my Delta miles.
Do you get to keep your hotel/airline points? Yes
How many miles per month are you driving? 50k per year. Company truck with all expenses paid. It's a F-150 XLT Crew Cab.
Do you have a "territory," and if so, what is it? Nola to Memphis for driving. Fly all over the country and international.
How does your company reimburse mileage? We bill .55. I just put all charges on the company card.
Do you receive a car allowance, and if so, how much is it? No. Included as perk with unlimited personal use. Personal use miles are taxed by the IRS as a fringe benefit.
Do you receive per diem, if so how much per night? $75. Use it or lose it. No alcohol restrictions. Not a big deal if I go over. No limit within reason if taking out a customer.
How are travel expenses paid (reimbursed from your card or company card)? Put on card.
What industry are you in? Marine inspections for oil/chemical companies.
What advice would you give someone who is about to be a frequent work traveler? Bose headphones have great noise cancelling, Tumi luggage, Waze app, Global Entry/TSA pre check.
