I skimmed through his book and watched the movie. When I read that he shot people off the Super Dome, I put the book down. I knew there was no point in reading the rest. The movie sucked also.

I didn't realize someone claimed to do this. I haven't read much about the guy but I was there the day after Katrina and don't remember hearing or seeing anything like that. Did he claim to do it the day of Katrina?

There was nothing in his book about the Superdome incident so I imagine you didn't read it and put it down at that point.
FWIW, I think the guy was a Great War hero. With that said, he was prob a little off too. I'm not sure what context the Superdome stuff was said but I'm sure whatever he saw pissed him off and he went on a make believe rant. Not saying anyone got picked off, but I'd imagine with the National Guard called in and the chaotic environment, I'd imagine the military did strategically have snipers deployed in case shite hit the fan.

What book are you talking about? There's nothing like that in American sniper or his history of guns book.
