Hey guys, I'm about to buy my first home and I was looking at Lexington Park. These homes are in the 230-260k range. I'm wondering if anyone thinks this is a good investment...do you guys think the home will appreciate in value over the next oh I don't know 5 years?

My wife and I nearly bought in Lexington Estates in 2014. We were bored yesterday so we drove by Lexington and drove over to that area. My God. I'm very happy with my decision not to buy in Lexington Estates now.
Lexington Park homes are on top of each other. I can not imagine living in those things. There isn't room for individual mailboxes at each house. And they're throwing SO many of them up, I just can't wrap my head around how they have the demand for those.
Who knows what will happen with appreciation in Lexington Park. But in my head, I see it just like Springlake. That's just my take on it. And I'm no expert on anything.

Because there isn't. People don't want to hear it and I can't speak about to the scale but there is another housing bubble forming.

And I think the HOA fees are like 800 + per year. That's crazy for the price range of those houses.

Would you happen to know some good neighborhoods that would be good to look into?

Any particular area you favor more than other? What are your requirements? 3bed/2bath? Pool? Garage? Square footage?
