Ruining the game and the traditions bit by bit. You may not like marching bands, you may think it's a throw back to a day gone by. Give it time, though, they will change or eliminate anything if it makes money. The game is nothing but a coincidental occurrence to the money quest.

I think its a shame. College bands are part of the overall tradition and pageantry that make college football so special. I've always enjoyed watching and listening to the USC Trojan band play "Fight On" or the Michigan band play "Hail to the Victors" when they visit South Bend (Granted, I enjoy it less when ND is losing, but hey its not the bands fault).

Bands, even the opposing team's band, are part of the whole scene... just like tailgating before the games. It seems like all of these things are under pressure and changing. Not good.
