Not like he was ever gonna commit to us to begin with, but I'm guessing that we still have no chance with Devonta Smith.

I hope Michael Young out of Destrehan gets an offer too

Why would you think we have no chance with Smith?
We have a good while before signing day to bring him further towards our corner. Yeah he started out a big Bama lean but we're closing that gap.
Craig can recruit with anyone and will prove to be one of the top 3-5 recruiters in the game. You better believe he's making Smith his top priority. Much like with Orgeron and Lawrence last year. Trust our guys, they can recruit with ANYONE.
We're never out of it for a in state prospect with this staff

We've actually made up a lot of ground on Smith, in fact even bama mods are "surprised" he hasnt committed to them at this point with Pettito there. Means we are making him really think about it.

It did seem like he was a Bama lock, but I know people have been saying that LSU is closing the gap a little bit. That's why recruiting is such a tough thing to follow. These are high school kids who could essentially change their minds every day on what schools they love, like, or dislike. I guess until they sign their LOI, it really doesn't matter.

I really like this dude's game and glad they finally offered him.

Because someone recently CB'd Smith to Alabama and we know those CB's are 100% accurate.

His tape is impressive. Very smooth route runner, can be physical, and obviously has the speed after his 40 time at camp. I can't see juluke letting this one go anywhere else.

Need a receiver named Risqué now.

Don't know much about him. Anyone seen him play?

With that name, there will always be NASCAR.

I like this kids tape and measurable thus far the best in the state of Louisiana for this cycle. I know all the attention goes to Smith, but I'm more excited about Raceys ability to high point the ball, his physical nature, and ability to rack up YAC.
I hope when all is said and done, this kid is a TIGER; I think he is vastly underrated and is a diamond in the rough

Don't know much about him either. But he def looks like a big, strong, physical WR with solid speed. Also looked like he was a pretty solid route runner for his age as well. Looks like a legit player, glad we offered.
