I will keep rolling with my cheap igloo coolers. The ice lasts longer than I can drink in one session so I'm good

Ice just isn't that expensive
This! I can buy about 8-10 igloos of the same size for the price of a yeti. I'm still trying to figure out when I would need to keep ice frozen for 8-10 days anyway. I had an igloo out back by my pool over the Memorial day weekend. Ice down beer on Saturday morn and Sunday evening there was still ice in it....But only a couple bottles of water left.

What I found melts the ice faster is letting the water sit in there overnight. I have an older Igloo Cube, and back when we would take a week long trip to the beach, I'd dump 3-4 bags of ice in it the first day. Throw water/Gatorade in the bottom, dump a couple bags. Add beer, dump the other bags. At night, I'd open the drain, tilt it on the side, and let what melted drain out. I could just add whatever the icemaker in the fridge made to the top the next day, and I never ran out over 4-5 days.

Not everyone needs one, as with many products. Just like trucks with 4WD, many people who have it, don't actually need it.
The argument just gets beat to death here with, "What a bunch of dumb asses paying 400 dollars for something you can get for 50." You don't get the same product for 50, so quit bringing that argument. Everyone has different needs and different reasons for their purchases.
