Well I'm not getting into a debate about politics or whatever.

Met him once as a kid and he was a helluva a guy, considering how famous he was...he acted like he needed us. Never acted like the former champ...just a regular guy, who knew he was special and had a duty to engage but not too special to not be a regular guy.

I've met a few other athletes, none as gregarious and humble as Ali. I do think he was a special athlete and deserves all the accolades and condolences.

I've met a few an they some acted like the fans were the most important reason for their success. So that doesn't bother me.
