I don't think it's realistic to think Fournette will get much better, simply because I honestly don't think he has much more room to do so.

His one major weakness was his tendency to try to reverse his field when the hole is completely filled. He simply doesn't have the pure speed and quickness to do so (I'm not sure anyone his size can physically do that).

If he stops trying to do that and just accepts that it might be a 1 yd gain into a dogpile on occasion, instead of a 5 yd loss trying to reverse field, I would say he's max'd out his potential.

A bunch of downvotes for this?

Ok, those who downvoted, please clarify:
OTHER THAN Fournette trying to cut back and lose yardage when the play is stuffed, what else can he improve on?

Pass receptions, maybe?

I mean, the kid has immense potential, but with adequate blocking (not something that falls on him to improve), he's already a Sportscenter highlight film on almost every run. He's crushing linebackers and outrunning corners, he's embarrassing the safeties that are trying to set up for him. When the blocking is there, he's patient and follows it beautifully.

There's not a lot of room for improvement in his game. That's not a criticism, it'a an acknowledgement of where his game was last season.

If he were to get "much better" (the OP's question), he'd be flying like Superman
