Has only happened once. He has made 2 poor starts since 2013. No one can argue against that. Buts hes pretty much been his usual self in his other 6
According to the OP, he has a 1.84 ERA since 2012.
He's given up 3+ ER in 5 of his 10 postseason starts. 5ER, 7ER, 8ER, and 3ERx2 (in only 6 IP)
For reference, he's given up 3+ ER in only 4 of his past 26 regular season starts dating back to last years ASB
Again, you cannot give up 3+ ER in 5 of 10 postseason starts if you're Clayton Kershaw. Your team lost 6 of the games he started.

6 innings 3 earned runs may qualify as a quality start during the regular season but the postseason is different. I would expect him to dominate like he has during the regular season. He goes from great to good during the postseason.

quote:since 2013 he has given up 3 or more ER 4 times. Game 6 of the 2013 NLCS and game 1 of the 2014 NLDS were bad. No argument. Game 4 of t had 2014 NLDS he pitched on short rest and got babipd until the home run was hit. Game 1 against the Mets he doesn't get a borderline call, he gets pulled, and the dodger bullpen can't get the 2nd out. So I have a hard time really criticizing him for those two when we are literally inches here and there from not having this conversation
