Y.A. ... nope, I'm not black, I'm white. I went to a black college, and my Wife is black.

It's not a black thing, though. The black community is equally up in arms about this bullsh!t. The guy who posted that is black.

I'm actually surprised that so many people on this board were unaware of this. Yes, it's a thing. I've known about it for years, and it's not a racial/ethnic thing ... it's a geographic thing.

Yeah, I was always curious about his statement because I'm pretty sure I've seen other black people eat grits and NOT do that.

He was from the Houston area, if that somehow plays into the geographic theory of this nastiness. Who the hell knows?
