I'd have thought you guys had bigger bluegill down there in all that water. The AL state record is 4 lbs 12 oz, over twice as big as the one that dude caught. That's still a big "bream" though.

I dont think anyone really thinks about submitting records down here, at least when it comes to sacalait or bream. People catch dos to eat dat!

I work pretty close to this place. It is an old gravel pit that is privately owned now. Right in the middle of the industrial part of beautiful, crime-free (LOL) Tarrant. No trespassing signs all over the place. I would love to slip in there one day. Never see anyone around it.
ETA: This is the one I'm really after. Damn...
