I bought it because it's cheap as hell and I figured it would either be not bad or give me something to bitch about. It's just that typical crystal malt bullshite that I find particularly offensive. Some people don't mind it. I think I'm just especially sensitive to it, and when I get that flavor it drowns out all the other flavors for me. It's slightly boozy, but not offensively so as far as DIPAs go, the body is in the mid-range, which is more or less where I want it to be, carb is fine...it just has an overabundance of malt flavor.
ETA I'm kinda at a point where the color tends to tell the story. That's the case here.
