Mississippi guys always flirt with LSU but never end up in Baton Rouge. Why is there any reason to believe this guy won't do the same?

A class of him and Clyde the glide would be dirty and help to bridge the gap from BUGA/Guice to the new stable

Stevan Ridley says hi.
But you're right. There don't seem to be too many in recent years.

His family and him had a blast yesterday at the picnic but the word here in Mississippi is that it's an ole miss and LSU out front with ole miss leading. If we have a great season I like our chances bc he is a natural fit in our offense compared to theirs

Cam Akers is nice, for some reason I don't feel like our chance is too great.

My gut is telling me we end up with Toneil Carter and Edwards-Helaire as the two running backs we take this year. I like Carter's build.

If the NCAA grows some balls and issues Ole Miss the penalties they deserve, their chances of picking up top prospects will be drastically hindered.

Even if we lead our chances are not good. The only way a top Mississippi prospect leaves the state is to go to bama. Pretty sure we all know why $$$$$

Toneil Carter will probably end up at a&m and we will probably end up getting the kid from Jena.

Why would a RB want to go to A&M?

I hope your gut is right cause he is the best running back between the two.

Why would a QB come to LSU? Most people feel like carter is leaving heavily towards A&M. If you don't beleive me ask anyone else with a 247 subscription and they will tell you the same.

Have you seen Akers Film? I am not sure he knows how to throw the football.

I just see Julluke being able to reel this kid in. He's expressed his love for LSU before frank Wilson left and I think Wilson leaving may have knocked us down a little for Carter, but Julluke is a new orleans guy and unless Cam Akers is keeping us from recruiting Carter as hard as we should be than I don't see him slipping from us.

I have a 247 sub and aTm is leading for Carter, but it also sounds like LSU hasn't really pushed hard for him. I'm sure we would take him if he wanted in but most think his rating is a little generous. We already have a scat back in this class. If LSU misses on Akers I think they call up the Etiene kid and try to get back on his good side.

I think we are definitely in the picture. I am fairly certain he visited LSU more and any school this spring and that is not including him camping here over the summer.

It's definitely gonna be a NSD recruitment with Ole Miss but damn if 2015 is truly our year, you gotta like our chances.

Hell, why would an RB go to Ole Miss for that matter?

Akers fits perfectly for what we like to do. We already have a scat back type in C-EH, so even if we got Toneil Carter, we would still need a bruiser.

The guy I replied to asked why a running back would go to A&M. That's why I brought up the question of why a QB would want to come to LSU. Sometimes a kid goes where he wants to be and doesn't care about other things, like how well a team developed his position the past few years.
