So who will go Saturday at eleven for the restart of Thursday's game? And, who will go tonight and Saturday night now?

Poche is pitching tonight. Smith will start either the resumption of Game 1 or Game 3. I have no idea who is going to start the other. Valek I guess.

Poche tonight. Riley smith tomorrow. PM isn't sure which game. No 3rd "starter" named. Likely Gilbert or Norman. Depends on who Pm wants for the SECT and setting up for regionals.

Lange averages around 6.2 - 7.0 innings per start. He pitched 3 innings , and game 3 was reduced by 2 innings. Ignoring other factors, that means LSU needs to find 2 innings of good pitching to make up for having to shut down Lange.

Is there a rule that would burn Lange for the rest of the weekend? Or are we assuming he's burnt because he threw 3 innings Thursday? His 30-40 pitches were basically a glorified bullpen. Is it not possible for him to pitch Saturday at some point?

It's possible but not likely. Really just depends on how the other 2 games go and who we have in the pen. Unless we are really close to having a great series vs Florida, bringing Lange back out isn't worth the risk to injury/messing with his arm. Not with postseason play right around the corner.

Lange would only pitch if we win the first 2 games and need him to win game 3

If we win the first two games, the third game doesn't really matter. We took the series, save Lange, and move on.

Just no

I highly doubt Lange pitches anymore this weekend. Too risky for his arm.
