12 man league head to head. I'm in first place but I have been pretty active with the most moves made. I've made good pickups like Sanchez and Herrera and traded Story and a couple guys for Sale in week 2. Trade scenarios are listed below my roster

Here is my team.
C- Lucroy
1B- Encarnacion
2B- Matt Carpenter
SS- Machado
3B- Franco
OF- Betts
OF- Herrera
OF- M Upton Jr
Util- Gardner
BN- Trae Turner (Hopefully SS)
DL- Devon Travis (TOR 2B)

SP- Sale
SP- C Hamels
SP- Felix
SP- Pomeranz
SP- Aaron Sanchez
SP- Joe Ross
SP- A Conley
SP- Andriese
SP- Duffey
RP- Rondon
RP- Osuna

I have two guys offering me a deal for Machado.

Deal 1-
G Cole and J DeGrom
for
Machado

Deal 2-
M Bumgarner and F Lindor
for
Machado and Joe Ross

so with deal 1 I wouldn't have a SS in return. I would have to play a waiver guy until Turner is called up.

with Deal 2, I would get Lindor in return at SS but only get one ace.

Which deal do you guys like? Should I just hold steady with what I have? I'm always looking to improve.

you're pitching is already strong, you're hitting would be rather terrible if you trade Machado. you should actually look to add another hitter

Well Turner and Travis are potential boosts to my lineups. Y'all don't like them?

I'd hate to let some pitching go for a bat. Who would you put on the block on my staff?

id just sit tight if you are in 1st place, if Travis and Turner hit when they come up, then you'll be fine.

Pomeranz value is at an all time high right now. Expect some regression at some point. And he pitches for the Padres, so it's hard to project many wins for him too (assuming this is a wins league). You can float him out there and see if anyone will overpay for his first 6 weeks of the season. You can always pull him back if no one offers anything you like.

You would rather have the current lineup than a staff with those top pitchers added to it?

I just worry about Felix and Hammels holding up all year. I also worry about a couple young guys that could be on innings limits. (Sanchez and Ross)

i mean i think your pitching is pretty strong.

but if you must overkill there, im not trading Machado.

trade Betts or Franco or Encarnaccion.

DeGromm is saying he doesnt feel right, fwiw

Stay put with Machado. There is no guarantee Turner will produce and Travis is always hurt.

Machado should be in trout and Harper company as far as return in a trade

You have 3 perennial aces and some decent filler. Upgrade when the time comes

I'd be preparing for the regression of guys like Upton and Herrera and also not putting all my eggs in the Turner Travis basket

If they throw a really good hitter in both deals and subtract Ross from #2, then I would listen

No. Play the wire for a hot bat. Rinse and repeat there until something sticks. Upgrade when necessary or there's good buy low sell high value. Pitching is strong so there's no need to make a move there unless one of your top 3 goes down.

Please don't move Machado.

Well I have a winning or .500 record in every weekly category.

But I'm in the middle of the pack in a lot of individual totals.

Does that make sense?

T-1st Wins
2nd Ks
T- 5th era
8th whip
3rd quality starts.

My era and whip is high because I've had guys like Eickhoff and Manaae at times. Like I said. I'm pretty active on the wire

Ok I just got Euginio Suarez (SS,3B) off of waivers. I dropped Andriese.

Should I consider the Degrom and Cole deal now? Since I have an option at SS with some power?

Would you trade Mike Trout for those two aces? Machado is a tier one elite player.
