up to date with 2015 guidelines?

we are working with AHA to get the new BLS, ACLS & RQI products out in the next month or so.

The RQI is a fantastic product.

eta PALS update will happen later in the year.

NRP

One of the times I had to recert on this some instructor(who thought she was some NICU know it all) tried to tell me I needed remedial classes because I had trouble intubating the mannequin. Tried humiliating me in front of the entire class because of this. First time ever that I had to do that for NRP. Usually they just have you practice setting up the scope/etc for the doctor(since as just an RN...you would NEVER be the one to intubate). Also...since I'm NRP certified cause I'm a peds nurse floating to the NICU...I'm not gonna ever be at an actual delivery...so I usually didn't need to complete all of the NRP components.

Wanted to tell that witch "Bitch I'm a nurse, when the frick would I EVER be actually intubating a baby?! If that happens, we got problems cause I just seriously overstepped my scope of practice"
