Board Games and VG: Dark Souls and This War of Mine

Some pretty cool stuff happening on Kickstarter right now (sometimes more useful for Games than for Yetis!).
Dark Souls is running an absolutely massive campaign in board game form:
LINK
$5 million, and one of the biggest Kickstarters ever. It looks kind of cool, but not my style.
Just a massive project with a tony of hype now. What looks more interesting, even though I never played the Video Game, is This War of Mine:
LINK
Significantly smaller in comparison, but it looks quite cool.
Although it looks component heavy. Apparently, early reports of demo plays have been good.

This War of Mine: The Board Game is a fully co-operative, open and play, survival experience. In this challenging, story-driven game for 1-6 players, you will play as group of civilians trapped in a city torn by a military conflict. To survive, you will need to make tough moral choices, delivered in a role-playing style. You will also scavenge, manage, fight, trade and upgrade your shelter.
Although it looks component heavy. Apparently, early reports of demo plays have been good.

I need to try This war of mine again. I loved the game but had a ruff time with the higher level buildings.

I've wanted to, it looks good. Just too many games to finish right now.
