Why? In just about any sport you have to adjust for how the game is officiated. It's part of sports.

Because the rules are pretty clear as to what the strike zone is. If you have the technology to get it right at least 98% of the time, why would you not use it?

I agree in terms of subjective calls. But, balls and strikes should be objective. There is a strike zone, plain and simple. Hit it, it's a strike. Miss it, it's a ball.
