The fact that guys aren't supposed to be in the women's bathroom isn't going to stop a pedo freak from still doing just that. You think someone in the mental state of wanting to molest a child will refrain from doing so because of the threat of a misdemeanor charge for going in the wrong bathroom? There's a thread on the OT right now about a going doing just that today. Perverts are going to pervert even if you tell them to please not go in particular bathrooms.

I think the issue is more about openly allowing perverts to frequent women's restrooms versus prohibiting them.
So, I guess we should allow everyone to do whatever the hell they please assuming they're going to do whatever the hell they please anyhow...is that what you're saying?

It may not stop them but it allows females to know that he isn't supposed to be in there at all, thus it's a massive DANGER sign for them. Remove that and you might has well change the name from "bathroom" to "russian roulette room".
The bottom line is that it exposes females to a much higher probability of being molested, "upstalled" or raped. Why is that preferable to hurting someone's feelings?
