Cheap guitars (150 bucks or less) which ones are the best value?

I was at a pawn shop day before yesterday, and there was a Dean A/E Jumbo cutaway. The damn thing was absolutely gorgeous. I picked it up and just started playing it. I was floored. It sounded and played beautifully.
I had a Dean dreadnought, years ago, I think I gave 40 bucks for it,it was pretty good too. I ended up giving to a girl( along with a promise of some lessons),I ended up getting more than my money's worth.
Anyway, I bought this one, walked out the door with it for 120 bucks, and I can't put it down.Been playing it all night. My wife is also a guitar player, and has been half sleeping and listening. She has gotten up 3 times with compliments about the way it's sounding.
What are y'alls favorites?

Washburn WD100DL
This is the guitar I started out on. It's a great beginner with low action and has a great tone for the price.

Do you still have it? How does it sound now?

Are you talking new or used?
$150 barely gets you into student to "serious" student instruments on the new retail floor. On the used guitar market that price window is such a skewed/gray area, you won't get answers that are solid or valid across the board, at least nothing on which to base a legit search or a be-on-the-lookout tip.
Case in point: You routinely see used Squiers, Epiphones, Yamahas and the like in pawn shops priced not much below what they go for new. In the meantime, I've bought two early 80s San Dimas-era Charvels (one a 100 percent original strathead) for around $200 each over the years because pawnbrokers didn't know how to distinguish the American made ones from the imports and because they were "pointy" era guitars when pointies weren't in vogue.

Yes, still sounds great. I usually break this one out when on the patio with other pickers and they usually comment on how good it sounds for an inexpensive guitar. The best aspect is that it is easy to play for a beginner guitar player right out the box.

I am talking about whatever you can get for 150 bucks.(did I not make that clear?)
You can get some great deals around college towns, I can tell you that for a fact.
just reread this.and realized that it might come off as a smart-arse remark, and I surely didn't intend it that way.
I am open to hear about anybodies idea of a good guitar deal.
Your opinions are particularly important to me,because you are in the guitar business already and that is my retirement plan. Anything I learn from you,well..it's like money in the bank.
