Comes out 6/28/2016 for $29.99. Not a graphics game, but seems pretty cool.

Anyone plan on getting it?
Any PC guys played it? Thoughts?

Hadn't heard of it until now.
Looks interesting.
I approve of the price as well.

Yes, I'm liking it the more I read and watch videos on it.
Survival/crafting and you can play with up to 4 together.
I'm going to try it for that price.

I played the PC version at 1st of the year. Not a big fan of them doing away with finding books to learn stuff from (crafting leather, putting together various weapons, using forge) and instead gating it behind points earned by "leveling".
Bigger differences to be expected tween PC and console versions than usual. The actual game developers (The Fun Pimps) are NOT handling the console version. The port to console is being handled by experienced porting company though.
Hint: Get a shovel made, dig, dig, dig. And keep your head on a swivel for dogs (packs of 3 or 5 for PC version).
ETA: Only reason not still playing daily is I started the Black Desert Online MMO. 7d2d is a fun game, still in alpha, beta not expected till late this year, still evolving game although should not require complete resets of saved games any more.

Played it a whole lot in alpha.

Played extensively for a year in alpha. After the first few weeks after patch release, once you are established and fortified, it becomes a pseudo-minecraft. Fun to go out and kill zombies, but not necessary. Spent almost 90% of my time building extravagant things (I thoroughly enjoyed digging out a massive deep bunker and building housing for the entire server), but other then that you may get bored quickly. Haven't played in the past two months, so they may have added more content. But I doubt it.
It's a fun game to try, at the very least.

My friend and I would play and sometimes we'd have people get in our game and wreck our shite...so we'd start over.
It was fun building new bases cause we realized what were important resources early on and what were prime places to build.
