Yep done it a few times, starting as early as 6 weeks from Virginia to Louisiana. It was easy early since they sleep so much. As older just need plenty of snacks and movies help hold their attention if you have built in or portable dvd screen

Just have to stop every few hours to change diaper and feed and get them out of car seat. But we've had good kids for traveling, no excessive fussing
