My last oil change at the dealer resulted in a new engine.


Dealers are no better that quickie lubes for oil changes.

That said, if it is under warranty, the dealer would be the place to go.

Yeah. The only reason I had the dealer do that one oil change was because I was already in there for warranty replacement of a mirror tilt module.

I'm too impatient to sit around for an hour while the dealer fiddles around. The "quickie place I use costs more, but I never have to get out of the vehicle, and am usually gone in ~ 10 minutes.
