Some cameras are cheap and don't perform as advertised like some have said above... I know this from lots of experience with these cheaper cameras... However, I have noticed something over the years with game cams that maybe not everyone realizes.

These cameras work off of 2 triggers... 1 is motion and the other is ambient temperature. If the camera ONLY triggered on motion you would have a million pictures of the wind blowing the branches so the additional trigger is a difference in ambient temperature.

With that being said, I have always seen a drop off in the number of pictures during the summer months when it starts getting hotter outside. There just isn't enough difference in ambient temperature to trigger the camera.

I've had mostly WGI and Moultrie over the years... the Moultries have been pretty decent cams on the whole compared to the WGI cams. Last year I purchased a Browning and it seemed to perform pretty well. I would probably buy another.
