I don't even know why I'm arguing with you
If you don't think ~ .3 isn't a huge difference at the combine them you simply aren't familiar with the process. It's not close. You are talking rounds

Yeah rounds if most or all of the drills were that far off. They weren't.
What was far far far off was vert and broad. That's enough to scare teams. Add in what you're talking about and yeah you can see maybe why he fell.

Here's how Landon and Avery stack up against some comparable big guys from the last few years.
I think Landon is Tre Jackson or better, without the FSU National Championship.
I think Avery Young is Daryl Williams or better, without the Sooner win over Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.
they're both better than Cyril Richardson at EVERYTHING, and better producers than Robert Myers or Eric Herman..... but not as well rounded and polished as Jeremiah Poutasi. So how'd that play out on draft night for them all?
Tre Jackson: All American, First Team All ACC 2 years in a row. Wide body. Guard only. Sound familiar?
Daryl Williams: Big Program Right tackle, Possible NFL Guard. Below-average athleticism. Plodder.
Jeremiah Poutasi: Great measurables, above average mid-conference college left tackle with NFL guard upside
Bobby Hart and Cyril Richardson: Solid programs, average play at college tackle, good at guard, NFL Guard flier
Robert Myers and Eric Herman: Small school tackles, possible NFL guards, Good combines
Jeremiah Poutasi: NFL draft: 2015 / Round: 3 / Pick: 66
Tre Jackson: NFL draft: 2015 / Round: 4 / Pick: 111
Daryl Williams: NFL draft: 2015 / Round: 4 / Pick: 102
Cyril Richardson: NFL draft: 2014 / Round: 5 / Pick: 153
Robert Myers: NFL draft: 2015 / Round: 5 / Pick: 176
Bobby Hart: NFL draft: 2015 / Round: 7 / Pick: 226
Eric Herman: NFL draft: 2013 / Round: 7 / Pick: 225
Landon and Avery could have easily been 4th Rounders, had they been on better teams. As a physical prospect, Avery may be the best one on that list. He also may be the best Left guard prospect that we have. If Andrus can't make the switch to RT this year, Avery is going to be seeing plenty snaps there too... Our first rounder and a UDFA will be duking it out for the same positions.
