I just found out about this one today. I've recently heard the term "go away green" mentioned in several different places but hadn't a clue to what it was referring. I finally decided to Google the term:

quote:

Disneyland and Walt Disney World are big on illusion. The masterminds—Disney calls them "Imagineers"—behind the theme parks even invented a paint color that was designed to make things visually disappear. They call it "Go Away Green," and you don't have to run a theme park to take advantage of its mysterious cloaking powers.

I just got back this past Saturday with the family. The biggest thing that I found was to go early then take a break around 2 or 3 and go back to the park that has magic hours that night and close it down. I had a five and nine year old that made the break a must. The cooler temperatures made the park so much nicer. Many people go all day and leave the park around 5 worn out.

Watch the firework show early on your trip and then use that time the following days to do rides. The Snow White mine cart ride went from an 80 minute wait to 15 minute wait. The lines really let up at firework time.
