I did actually do that two trucks ago. I liked to never have gotten the door panels back on. I agree with everyone re: Crutchfield. It's just not something I want to tackle right now. I have a brand new vehicle, and the stock stuff sounds ok for the time being. I'm sure I'll want at least speaker replacements at some point though.

Sonicelectronix has the same stuff for much cheaper and the same quality customer service
