I've died plenty in there. The ghast are ridiculous. I think I have good enough armor and have potions of fire resistance that I would be OK, but I'm mostly tunneling though Netherrack to avoid everything.

I spent some time working now an underwater area this weekend.
Also started working on a map wall. This is all I got but here is what the world looks like so far...I died and lost my center map

I will put some slime in a chest at the spawn from time to time, along with other things I have found that I won't be using. The slime spawns beside my house in the swamp at night.

Yea I added some extra space, not really sure what I'm doing with it. I did add a torch beacon to help locate the area without a map, someone else had done that and it was a pretty good idea. Probably going to create a nether portal and an enclosed room around it somewhere around the complex later

T3FLON ARMOR.
The Nether for this world is pretty crazy. It's really uneven and disjointed. Ive carved out about half of the rail system I'm going to use. I need to put the portals and track still. I'm kinda stuck though because I'm at a point where I have to build the floor and sides over a lava lake and the ghast shoot at me and blow the floor and I fall in the lake and die.
Saturday i made a potion of invisibility and thought I'd be safe but I guess it didn't work and I fell in the lake and lost 30 levels,my map, a levEl 30 diamond pickaxe and sword
