I am looking at taking a golf trip to Scotland and possibly Ireland next year. For the ones who have done this already, did you book everything yourself or go through a package/tour deal? Recommendations on package/tour companies as well as golf itineraries are welcome.

Invest in a nice fitting rain suit. I've played 12 rounds over ther total 10 in the steady rain that falls everyday. 10 handicappers barley breaking a 100 when any wind blows. All in all a great golfing experience but check your bad attitude at the gate. Scoring good will not be part of the deal. Enjoy yourself

St. Andrews. If it isn't on the list, your list is a fail.
