"Payton also said the Saints see him as a defensive tackle in subpackages and a potential defensive end in their base 4-3 defense."

"Onyemata's versatility might be why the Saints displayed obvious interest during the draft process by being one of two teams to send their defensive line coach to Onyemata's Pro Day (the other team was the Eagles), while 16 other teams sent scouts."

NFL.com considers Onyemata’s strengths as “Big, powerful frame. Has some violence and jolt in his punch. Big hands with good arm length. Has potential to be snap-winner at point of attack with NFL coaching.”

"But the upside is Onyemata's natural ability and intelligence. A CFL scout said he would be a first-round pick in the CFL Draft, noting his versatility in multiple fronts."

As a University of Manitoba season ticket holder, I can tell you that Onyamama, as we Bison fans like to call him, will be a Saints Hall of Famer and it will be evident by the middle of THIS year. First round talent.
