Why does the PS4 suck so bad?

So I just finally bought a ps4 a few weeks ago and the first day I got it I was having issues with it shutting off a few seconds after I turned it on. I got advice to unplug it for a while then plug it back in and do the hold the button reset thing. I fixed it that time.
I go to play it yesterday after not having turned it on for a week or so and it won't stay on. It turns off a few seconds after starting. I tried resetting it again and it did not work this time.
Does the PS4 just suck or am I an idiot who isn't doing something right?

Did you try turning it off and back on? Also, make sure the power cable is plugged in.

The exact same thing happened to mine. It is a power supply issue. The part the plug connects to in the back. They will replace it with a brand new one. I actually ended up with 4 controllers because all they require that you return to them is the console. No cords or accessories. I did lose Madden because it wouldn't power on to eject the disc but I got 4 controllers now
