So you are paying the rent for May, and the rent for June, both upfront, but no security deposit, and you won't pay rent again til July? Sounds to me like it's a way to charge a higher security deposit and keep some of the trash out that can't afford two months upfront. I'd do that any time over a security deposit

I'm going to have to go deep into savings :(. It's going to take like 2 years to get savings back to what they were.
