The front looks good (centipede) but the back looks like hot garbage. Probably because I have 2 large dogs and a pretty small backyard. Being so close to the coast there is a ton of sand and was wondering if anyone has had experience with st. aug in similar conditions.

I put a few plugs in a couple of weeks ago in the bare spots to see if they would take. For the most part they are doing well but still early to tell. 1 or 2 dried out a bit but they so happen to be in an area with "high efficiency" 10 VAN Rainbird heads that may hit 4 ft out on a calm day. I've changed those out recently.

TIA

I would think the dogs are more of your problem than the soil. St Aug should do well down there
