I keep all of the information that has already been provided, and I also record how many hours I run my outboard motor on each trip. I also document in my log any mechanical problems and when my motor is serviced. Others may keep this information elsewhere, but I find that it is easier to record in my fishing log since the info is for my benefit anyway.

I've been keeping a fishin log since 2001, love goin back through it. Basically helps me keep up with particular areas and patterns to fish based on times of the year . Fun to read back on old trips too
