Sorry nugget just saw this, what you described is classic blood sugar drop.i only deal with it if I get essentially zero carbs for a few weeks the. Do a huge refeed of 500 to 1000g carbs in a short time frame. What happens is my body processes the carbs extremely fast so I get a huge spike then it drops to crazy low levels. In the past I have gotten down into the upper 30s on the glucose monitor which is crazy low.

Not sure how you can combat it other than spreading the carbs out some and going from fast acting to slow to very slow acting carbs and then monitor with blood glucose monitor. Sorry I can't really help other than that. Only other thing is keep some honey with you and if it starts getting below 60, have a spoonful every 15min til you feel better. I'm good at manipulating carbs with people and getting blood sugar down but only way I know to get it up and feel better is the honey and the fast to slow trick.

I was going to ask if you have ever measured blood sugar before and after eating the 500g of carbs. Do you feel the need to nap afterwards? I get your trying to spike to drive muscle growth, just curious. It could be a good and cheap n=1 experiment.

Heck, I may get one and just document my response after certain foods
